Will’s approach combines his knowledge of architecture, interiors and consultancy to ensure that solutions are intrinsically suited to the client’s needs. Will’s award winning work covers an international and corporate client base and focuses on creating workplace, live-work and co-working spaces.

His clients include and are not limited to: Banking: Barclays, Bank of China, Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, Henderson Global Investors, Morgan Stanley, Macquarie, Generation Investment Management. Insurance: Friends Life, Allied World, RFIB, Thomas Miller, Legal: Pinsent Mason, Cadwallader, Linklaters Corporate/media: Coca-Cola Enterprises, Kingfisher, BskyB, Publicis, News Corp, Reuters, Government: LU, NATS, European Commission and Parliament, MOJ, Bank of England, and LA’s. Will is involved in changing the world of work through research, collaboration, and practice. He is particularly interested in sustainability and how new technologies drive new work practices. Will’s research covers, simpler desking solutions, flexible occupation and more social work settings, to support the interaction needs of an emerging generation of knowledge worker. At the forefront of research into environmental design technology, Will pioneered the SKA environmental tool and is currently leading the BCO ‘Wellness Matters’ guide. Research projects include: Sustainable communities RIBA, SKA, Smart CatA, BCO Wellness Matters and CoreNet UK Trading floor research.

Will studied at Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London and qualified as an architect in 1998. He joined Pringle Brandon in 2003 before joining Perkins+Will in 2012. In 2018 he founded WILL + Partners

Ian Apsley
About

As Managing Director at Broadway Malyan, Ian has overall responsibility for the day to day management of the global practice and chairs the main Holdings Board’s Executive Committee.

Ian joined Broadway Malyan in 1999 and was appointed group Managing Director in 2019 having previously held positions leading the practice’s Middle East and UK divisions. An architect by profession, Ian’s background is in the design of complex, mixed-use schemes in the UK, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. This has included Broadway Malyan’s work on the Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC) Future Schools Programme and numerous high-profile residential schemes in the UK.

With a passionate interest in the challenges facing a fast-developing world, Ian focuses on the social, cultural and technical aspects of design. Internally, Ian is currently driving the agenda to make the practice a more sustainable and responsible business. This included leading the practice’s transition to employee-owned statues in 2016

Rob Price
About

Rob is a Partner at WILL+Partners. He is an experienced and motivated designer with over 30 years of experience running teams on both large and small projects. His client base is broad and covers the financial, corporate, media and retail sectors.

Rob’s work includes undertaking client’s due diligence and workplace strategy, from Fit out though to Basebuild. He coordinates with consultant and landlord teams to fully review the existing / proposed / repurposed accommodation, enabling a complete building assessment.

He has worked on key projects such as The Willis Faber Building and Shell Centre, where an understanding of client needs have been paramount. Rob enjoys listening to the needs of the client in order to reach solutions that work for all.

Rob is a keen cyclist and competes with his local club. He has completed the London to Paris Sportive 3 times and runs Team WP, our practice cycle team. Rob supports education initiatives in Architecture and design, and is a keen advocate of increased accessibility within the industry.

Mitakshi Sirsi
About

Mitakshi specialises in sustainability in the workplace; particularly in directing management policy through research frameworks; and using training as a tool to integrate high-level strategies and certifications through the life cycle of buildings.

She believes that space is fundamentally made for and by its users, and that better design can be encouraged through the application of research, engagement, and a focus on interdisciplinary application. Recently, she has been a part of the pioneering ‘BCO Wellness Matters’ project, and successfully applied novel frameworks to projects for clients such as Zurich Insurance, Hiscox, British Red Cross and Hogan Lovells LLP.

Mitakshi’s time in practice has been spent as an architect, sustainability, and policy consultant, working on various sustainable design, planning and wellness projects in the UK and internationally. She holds an honours degree in Architecture and an MSc. in Environmental Design and Engineering (EDE) from the Bartlett, UCL.

She actively engages in climate-change impact activism and dialogue, and she looks to continue to seek a lasting impact on the planet through her work, education, and community involvement and efforts.

Kevin Goldsmith
About

Kevin specialises in leading refurbishment and fitout projects at Will + Partners, as well as leading the Sustainability group. Kevin has over 30 years working experience with projects covering both the UK and Europe.

During Kevin’s time in Practice, he has worked on a range of commercial and corporate projects. His volume of repeat work is a testament to his client dedication.

He studied at the Greenwich school of Architecture where he developed his interest in Sustainability and Maker Arts. Some of Kevin’s art and design work includes recycled furniture as well as running maker workshops in his local church community. Kevin is a researcher in sustainable architecture and design, using his knowledge learned at Will+Partners for clients as well as in his local community and charitable work.

He remains connected to the London universities and is a regular critic and Judge on panels, most recently judging furniture design for Cass school of Art and Architecture.

Chloe Beeney
About

Chloe studied Psychology at University College London, where she gained an interest in design, fashion and how people in offices work. Her experience as a Fashion and Creative Director brings a different angle to our design work review process. Her clients include but are not limited to: Apple, BBC, Disney and L’Oreal.

Fashion Imagery is still her great passion, and she brings great insight in to retail office design, having worked for companies such as Burberry. Chloe has over 25 years’ experience in design, and operational organisation.

As well as providing support to the WILL+Partners operation, she brings terrific insight into workplace strategy and change management.

Josephine specialises in workplace change management and business coaching at WILL+Partners

By striving to deeply understand the human experience she helps clients and corporations thrive, putting wellbeing and happiness at the heart of her coaching. Whether working with leaders, decision makers, management or individual teams, she believes a culture of engagement and collaboration makes measurable and long-lasting success inevitable.

She has a breadth of experience working with blue chip companies and executives from fields including architecture, aviation, law, banking, renewable energy, television and film.

Her ‘Being Limitless’ programme enables rapid and sustainable growth and change by inspiring greatness. Listening deeply to where her clients are and where they want to go, she helps them become the architect of their ambitions by collaboratively creating a ‘flight plan’ and encouraging them to aim high. This ‘big picture’ outlook is combined with the implementation of small and consistent steps necessary to turn their mission into a reality.

Josephine studied Chinese Medicine: Acupuncture at Westminster and is a qualified pilot. As a lifelong student and teacher she has immersed herself in the disciplines of psychology, philosophy, human behaviour and peak performance.

She loves beauty, art and design and has hosted the Holistic Art House from her home in Brighton.

John Drew
About

John was educated in London and in the United States of America, he studied at the Architectural Association in London and Kingston University and then completed a master’s degree at Yale.

John was previously a partner at Foster + Partners where he worked for fifteen years. There, he was responsible for many of the buildings delivered by Foster + Partners in the City. These include 33 Holborn, 10 Gresham Street, 100 Wood Street, No 1 London Wall, 51 Lime Street, The Walbrook Building and The Spitalfields Development. In addition, he worked on many projects around the world including Chep Lap Kok Airport in Hong Kong, the Kogold Courtyard for the Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC and The Reichstag in Berlin.

In 2005, John joined Rafael Vinoly Architects as London Director. He was responsible for all projects coming out of the London office including, 20 Fenchurch Street, The masterplan for the redevelopment of Battersea Power Station, The Mathematical Institute for Oxford University and the Bahrain Bay Development in Bahrain.

In 2010, John formed Pringle Brandon Drew with Jack Pringle, Chris Brandon and William Poole-Wilson. Two years later, the company merged with Perkins & Will. During the next eight years, John was a principle and was placed in charge of architecture in London. John designed buildings in Oxford and Cambridge for Brookgate and the Oxford Science Park, The

Stage in Shoreditch, Fleet House for the City of London and 150 Holborn for DAR. John gained a wealth of experience working in Oxford and Cambridge on Science based projects.

John’s interests are in urban regeneration and sustainable design, he has a wealth of experience working on the City Fringe in London and in reintegrating the damaged urban fabric to create better places for people to live and work. He is passionate about sustainability and delivering a viable future. He believes that design is a collaborative process and one that is best achieved by assembling teams of the very best people to deliver extraordinary buildings for our clients.

Clare is a qualified Interior Designer with over 20 years’ experience in Commercial Interior Design. Clare has led the design and delivery of award winning projects nationally and globally, across a wide variety of commercial premises, including offices and higher education, healthcare and leisure facilities.

Clare’s main focus is in workplace consultancy and workplace design, supporting organizations achieve the most out of their working environment through bespoke workplace strategies and detailed evidence-based design.

Clare is a member of the British Council of Offices and member of both the BCO’s regional Northern Committee and National Technical Affairs Committee. As a member of the Technical Affairs Committee, Clare has been involved in the production of a number of White Papers on best practice in office and workplace design. She co-authored a thought piece on post-Covid and hybrid working as well as contributed to the up-coming update to the BCO’s Guide to Fit Out.

Sarah has over 20 years of experience in interior design. She has undertaken numerous projects in the retail, workplace and public sectors. Her work ranges from large workspace design to the provision of lounge and meeting spaces. Clients include but are not limited to: BP, Citi Bank and Maclaren Group.

Sarah has good all round professional skills, from preparation of concept strategies and mood boards to space planning of room layouts, she ensures the needs of the client are at the forefront of design.

She is adept at researching new materials that can be considered for use in all environments and different countries. She focuses on taking each commission through from inception to completion.

Of particular interest to her is the impact of well-designed interiors and how the application of colour, texture and lighting can affect the quality of the visual environment.

Dani is an experienced workplace consultant, delivering complex workplace strategies and change management projects for both national and international clients across a variety of sectors including professional services, healthcare and not for profits.

Dani is passionate about creating human centric solutions that balance the needs of the organisation, with that of the teams and the individuals that work within them – supporting increased organisational efficiency and employee wellbeing. She will ensure that the workplace solution is aligned to the project vision agreed by leadership and meets organisational priorities.

Skilled in the design and implementation of a variety of tools, communication and engagement mechanisms to engage with impacted stakeholders, Dani provides the evidence for new ways of working and impactful change strategies.

Dani is a Certified Associate of the Project Management Institute (CAPM).

Beth Starling
About

Beth is a creative concept interior designer and has been a member of the WILL Academy since 2020. She studied Architecture at Oxford Brookes University graduating with BA (Hons) in 2017. Believing there is always more knowledge to be gained, she returned to university in 2019 and achieved her Master’s Degree in Interior Design from Brighton University.

Her masters research titled ‘The High Street of Tomorrow: Adaptive Re-use and Workplace Wellbeing’ extensively explores a reimagined British High Street. She believes that connected communities have the ability to support workplace wellbeing and community wellness. Her research proposes that collaborative practices between hybrid workers and the wider community could be utilised in the pursuit of collective community value.

Through the WILL Academy Beth continues to explore her interests in wellness, sustainability, and flexible working environments. Outside of the office Beth loves to keep active, enjoying sports, in particular horse riding. She also enjoys home baking with her family.

Ayo is a graduate from the University of Westminster, where he learned how powerful architecture is at influencing sensorial experiences and how to effectively utilise this within design, providing a unique experience to the beholders and users.

It’s through his studies that he developed a fondness for commercial projects. This led to him wanting to further enhance his knowledge of commercial buildings, workplaces and wellbeing within design.

Ayo expresses an ‘ready & eager to learn’ approach to all tasks and is intrigued by new opportunities.

Before joining WILL+Partners, he was a junior freelance technical designer. In his spare time, he enjoys producing graphical art, keeping fit in the gym and going for long walks in parks to immerse himself with nature.

Anoushka Pacquette
About

Anoushka is a creative Interior Designer at WILL+Partners and has been a part of the WILL Academy since 2022. She studied Interior Architecture at the University of Westminster, graduating with BA (Hons) in 2020.

For her thesis project, Anoushka researched and created a ‘Digital Detox Retreat’ centre where people can escape the ‘on the go’, stressful environments the city provides, and go to a tranquil and peaceful space. She believes that being able to focus on all aspects of our health has numerous benefits not just to the individual, but also to our productive output.

Anoushka is very passionate about wellbeing and the users Human experience, so much so, she is continuing her research into Digital Detox Spaces through the WILL Academy. This builds upon her University research.

Anoushka is a multi-award winner and was amongst the winners of the BCO Next Gen Ideas competition in 2022. She also won the 2022 Graduate of the Year Award, which recognised the outstanding contributions of new-comers to the commercial property industry.

Outside of work, Anoushka is a very creative. She enjoys cooking and baking as well as designing and making things such as wired Bonsai trees. She also enjoys taking in art culture by visiting different exhibitions and museums. She hopes to create her own exhibition in the future.

Anna is an outstanding Visionary, Designer and Creative. As a master’s graduate of the University of Brighton, Anna was awarded the WILL+Partners’ ‘Innovative Drawing Prize’ for her exceptional Interior Design Portfolio, through our WILL Academy, the research arm of our studio. She has successfully completed two University Degrees winning multiple awards along the way.

As a recent addition to the WILL+Partners studio, Anna is more than thriving; she engages with the team and clients in a fantastic manner, professional to the end. We believe she is an asset not only to WILL+Partners but to the wider design industry for her critical, thought provoking and deep human-centric design focus.

Anna’s background in textile, fashion and print design makes her a multi-disciplinary designer. She demonstrates high levels of creativity and can communicate her ideas through design innovatively and in a truly thoughtful and considerate way. She believes that design isn’t just about aesthetics, it’s about people, observing behaviours and searching for the new. Anna expresses her magnetic personality through everything she does and is able to solve problems, have instinctive idea development and create thoughtful outcomes in both her work for us and through her own design and research work.

Dr. Nigel Oseland
About

Dr Nigel Oseland is an environmental psychologist, workplace strategist, change manager, researcher, international speaker and published author with 11 years research and 24 years workplace consulting experience.

Nigel draws on his psychology background and his own research to advise occupiers on how to redefine their workstyles and rethink their workplace to create working environments that enhance individual and organisational performance, delivering maximum benefit. He specialises in workplace strategy, design briefing and change management to help create workplaces that meet psychological needs and facilitate collaboration, creativity and concentration. Nigel has advised corporate businesses, public sector bodies and educational institutions in the UK and throughout EMEA.

Before setting up his own workplace consulting practice, Nigel was a researcher at the Building Research Establishment and completed his doctorate with the School of Engineering at Cranfield University. He then went on to become a workplace consultant at Johnson Controls (within their facilities management business), Swanke Hayden Connell Architects and specialist workplace practices AMA Alexi Marmot Associates and DEGW. When it comes to workplace design and planning, Nigel has an all-round experience.

Nigel is also an active speaker, lecturer, author, blogger and workplace pundit. His latest book, Beyond the Workplace Zoo, draws on the social sciences to create attractive offices that enhance wellbeing and performance. He is also the programme advisor for the Workplace Trends series of international conferences.

Ben Almond is an experienced Real Estate Transformation Consultant with a background in Corporate Real Estate, Finance, Operations and Capital Markets. He is a qualified Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) in Corporate Real Estate, having held Senior CRE Executive positions at a number of global organisations. He is also a qualified Chartered Accountant (FCA) and spent 15 years in the earlier part of his career working in Finance, Capital Markets and Derivatives COO roles for leading Investment Banks.

​Prior to setting up his own real estate consulting business, he held various Executive positions at well known, global institutions. He is the former Global Head of Property at Pearson PLC, the world’s learning company, where he provided strategic and operational leadership of a complex, global portfolio and managed a large, geographically dispersed team across 6 continents. Ben orchestrated and led Pearson’s global location strategy and transformation programme for 5 years, implementing new innovative workplaces to support the company’s digital and growth agenda, and delivering significant financial benefits.

Ben draws on his extensive client-side CRE and Finance experience to assist his clients to develop effective real estate transformation strategies. He is adept at assessing risks, identifying financial and operational improvement opportunities, designing and leading location strategies and delivering business-enhancing change. He supports his clients with governance, organisational design, portfolio and workplace strategies, capital and financing strategies and delivering complex change programmes across multiple geographies.

​He is an accomplished leader with a passion for simplifying complexity, developing talent and delivering excellence. He is a practicing 3rd Dan Judo black belt and a qualified elite-performance coach to a number of national medallists.

Nicola de Wind
About

Nicola is a highly motivated and passionate Architect who has a particular interest in the ‘craft’ of how buildings are designed. She completed her post graduate diploma in 2013 and has been a fully qualified architect registered with the ARB since 2015. During this time Nicola has developed broad professional experience with a number of practices in the UK and has gained extensive experience working on award winning higher education projects and workplace design.

Throughout her career, Nicola has worked on the design and delivery of complex and high quality buildings. This has equipped her with an in-depth experience across all the RIBA project stages. Nicola has a particular interest in the technical design and construction of projects and is focused on delivering excellent design through quality detailing.

Nicola studied at the Bartlett School of Architecture and the Mackintosh School of Architecture, where her thesis project won the Sheppard Robson Sustainability in Design Award and the Glasgow School of Art Sustainability Prize.
